Q: Response Time & T3
If one is to be a dramatic responder to the addition of T3 to T4 how long does
it take to realise the improvement once T3 is added?

Fearing that having to ask means it didn't happen for you (or maybe you're
asking for yourself or someone who's still contemplating trying this approach)
-- about two weeks, I'd say. Usually I start at a half grain, then one
grain, then one-and-a-half if nothing good nor bad is happening. After two
weeks at that highest dose, something good ought to be showing up. Usually
about 1-2 weeks after that is when hyperthyroid symptoms will start showing up,
if the dose is too high, so there's a window of good that can be followed by
something more complicated (and requiring dose reduction). Of course all
of this is to be done under a doc's supervision, with TSH testing to give some
idea of where you are. Good luck with that.
